Why mental fitness training?

Improve your athlete’s optimal performance.

Increase your athlete’s resiliency.

Develop your athlete’s ability to step into stressful situations.

Athlete’s experiences, at all levels, are influenced by physical and psychological stress. Generally, development plans focus on increasing tactical skills and physical fitness but lack intentionality in the development of Athlete’s mental fitness.

Mental fitness training focuses on skill development in the following areas:

  • focus regulation

  • emotional regulation

  • self-talk

  • goal setting

  • skill integration into daily life

As the demands on coaches, parents and organizers grow, metal fitness training often takes a back seat to other priorities.

Thrive Sport Project’s Anchored Performance program presents athletes with mental fitness skills to support their well-being on and off the field. Each athlete will complete the program gaining insight into the various elements of mental fitness, learn practical tools that they can implement TODAY.
